THE WAREHOUSE, WATERLOO

The Warehouse project in the heart of the entertainment district of Waterloo, London, provided a new home, rehearsal studios and venue for the London Festival Orchestra. This project, completed in 2 phases, re-worked 2 abandoned warehouses to provide 2 new studios, sound mixing and recording facilities, offices and an apartment for the musical director. Phase 2 of this development received Lottery Funding through the Arts Council and provided additional spaces for Education, Outreach Projects and Research.

The development formed part of a new Musical Hub for the area, with the remaining 2 sides of the courtyard occupied by a string instrument retailer and repair shop.
